Web Design!! Help Please!!?

I am new with web design, however i have managed to create a message board. I am working on a full website now, which i will will host my message board from.

I am looking for something free and simple!! I am trying freewebs right now, but what i am wondering, is if there is an app. which i can add to my website so members who sign up can create their own profile pages and be searched. (Kinda like Nexopia).

I%26#039;m running several Drupal-based sites, and it does have profiles, but with some little quirks that you have to work around. For example...

Profiles... fantastic implimentation... design your own profile forms without having to do any programming, with all sorts of data from dates (birthday, anniversary, etc) to one-line text (First and Last name, Occuption, etc) to complete multi-line text fields (a list of hobbies).

Then, when lists of users are presented, you can choose which field they get sorted by (or if that field is even visible or public).

Here%26#039;s the catch... though you can SORT lists of users by profile displays, you cannot search for content within those fields. Here%26#039;s a work-around... every user gets a blog, and every time a user writes ANY content, whether it%26#039;s in a forum or a full-blown article, there%26#039;s a link to their profile, and from their profile, a link to their blog. So if users want to do complete write-ups of their biography, I encourage them to do so with an introductory blog entry. Because blog entries WILL get listed in the search results for key words.

I%26#039;d use webng.com for web hosting. PHPbb is the best for forums and profiles though. If you want simple to use, no coding, forums go with freeforums.org
