what =%26#039;s a MB, #2?,if i build my web site and all and i upload them to my free space on my provider, whats the point of a host?If i maintain and keep up my site, got any ideas?HOw big should photos be on 1 page..or does it matter? The web pages themselves will vary in size according to how much code (text, tables, links, etc.) is on them. So on a 5MB website you could have a few hundred pages of text if they had minimal graphics. 5MB is a decent amount of space to place a lot of content if done properly. There are a lot of freeware programs out there that will alow you to make photos and graphics smaller in filesize allowing you to have more graphical content on your pages.

MB = Mega Bites or mega bits. thare are 1000 Mega Bites in a gige on averige thare are 80 gige in a hard drive. thare are 1000 Kila Bites in a Mega Bite. under Kila Bites it gose to bits.

a hosting perviter gives you the space to store your stuff a hard drive not atached to your computer.

you wont your image to be storge size wise as small as you can to make shere the page loades fast. the size of the image is up to you biger it is the longer it will take the page to load. you can have as meny images as you wont on a page just keep in mind haw much the vower of your site has to dawn load to voow it.
