How to make money using a web site?

Hey Everyone,

Well my friend wants to make her own myspace layout web site. However, unless she can find a way to make money using her site she might not be able to do it. An well i thought putting ads on her web site would be the best solution. but by doing all my research i don%26#039;t think she would get enough money or enough people to click on the ads on her page to be able to host the site. So i am wondering how could you make money useing a web page? If you make money useing your site, how do you do it? my friend would like to adventually make this her full time job one day. Making money with a website is fairly easy only if you are able to get enough hits. I really don%26#039;t recommend making money with myspace layouts for many reasons. One reason is that myspace layouts are very common to come by, most of them are very unprofessionally done, and there are too many sites that provide these layouts for free.

Another reason is that any myspace user can take your images and claim it as theirs.

If your friend really wants to make money, I prefer making website layouts, banners, webicons, wallpapers, Photoshop brushes, etc.

You can also make money with ads (as you stated) but make sure you don%26#039;t overdo the ads.. and you are right. There aren%26#039;t many people who click on ads (Honestly, I don%26#039;t) and would just adblock them. Starting a website with a purchase of a domain does not cost that much if you find the right places to purchase. Good luck to her :)

Correct....with only 5000 new websites each day why would there be? Internet is 15 years old...still waiting to hear a single story about rags to riches through clicks.

I do but it%26#039;s not by clicks...it%26#039;s by serving a very very niche industry.
