i have laptops in a peer-to-peer winxp workgroup. I want a laptop that has IIS, .NET Framework 2.0 to host a website. The other laptops should access this web site by typing http://ip/web_app/default.aspx. Is this possible in a workgroup scenario? The website will be used only in the workgroup.
My problem is i cannot access the host laptop by typing http://ip_of_laptop/ in browser

You need to configure the iis and start the service, then allow port 80 for web browsing in the firewall exceptions.
