i am looking to put my website up soon, and seen 123 reg as a host, if i have a template how do i upload it? if my friend writes the html how would i upload it to the web?

I use this software called freeFTP for my websites.

You need to enter your username and your hosts address, thats all there is to it.
An alternative would be to use windows / My network places / new connection, then just drag and drop your webpages into the network place folder for your host.
